Creating an Energy Meter from a Power Meter

Is it possible?

I’ll spare you the long story but basically, I have a sensor that measures the power output in W and I’d like to sensor that’d measure the energy consumed by this.

Thanks for the reply. I tried creating that but when adding to the Energy dashboard it says:

try adding the state class total_increasing

and set the correct device class (energy)
