Apologies if this has been asked or already resolved, but I’m trying to find a solution with respect to home assistant and my google nest cams. Yes, I know, shouldn’t have bought cloud cameras. I bought them a long time ago before I knew better.
Anyway, I have the integration going on them just fine, however, I leave them off much of the time. But I do turn them on nightly… baby monitors and then they get shut off again in the morning.
The Google nest API as I understand it cannot do anything with respect to them when they’re in an off state. That being said, the cards I have just kind of sit there saying streaming even though they’re not active.
In my logs, I see an issue where it returns and 404 for the stream not found. I tried looking in the conditional cards article but couldn’t find a condition that would work with that issue.
Is there some way I can get that working through some other means? Or alternatively, maybe I can set up either a ghost button or schedule that would hide those cards based on time. I’m open to anything. I’d just like to hide those cards when they’re not active.
