Cross-origin script load denied by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy

using a custom card that imports Lit via

import {
LitElement, html
} from ‘https://unpkg-gcp.firebaseapp.com/@polymer/lit-element@^0.5.2/lit-element.js?module’;

gives me this error:

[Error] TypeError: Cross-origin script load denied by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy.
[Error] Unhandled Promise Rejection: /local/lovelace/resources/power-wheel-card.js?v=0.0.6

I haven’t updated either HA or the card, which were both showing fine… has something changed with that import at all? i am on 0.84.3
