CT sensor with EspHome not updating on Home Assistant when raw value is 0

Hi!

I’ve successfuly set up a CT sensor with ESPHome and integrated it with Home Assistant to monitor a specific water heater.

I’ve been having good sensor readings and I’m satisfied with its calibration. The ESPHome’s update interval is set to 30s. The problem happens when the water heater goes off and my sensor starts to read 0 A values.

When it happens, after one or two measurements with 0 value, my Home Assistant stops receiving updated readings which will only be resumed when the water heater goes on.

Any idea of how to make it update even with 0 value?

There are no updates if the value (and the attributes) remains the same.
