Custom action for universal player (media_play_pause, media_stop etc...)

Hi,

I’m trying to create a universal media player to unify my onkyo receiver (media_player) and my harmony hub (remote).
I would like to catch the next, prev, play / pause, stop actions and send those commands to my harmony hub.
It looks like this is not possible according to the documentation, am I missing something?

I also tried to use the beautiful custom-mini-media-player but it looks like this component doesn’t allow to override those actions as well, only through shortcuts (less appealing).
