Custom boot animation Android

Hi all,

Anyone created a HA boot animation for Android? I found this https://codepen.io/andyfitz/pen/LzgJPq but it looks like Android boot images are literally just a bunch of pictures.

AFAIK (from installing a couple of tweaks like 3 years ago), you are correct. They are gifs split into individual frames.

Don’t happen to have any conversion ideas?

Maybe a screencap and then convert to gif then separate it out into individual frames? I’m not sure - never done this myself.
