Hey everyone! I’ve just made my first ever Home Assistant custom card and wanted to share it here.
It’s a horizontal bar card for displaying any numeric sensor… power, temperature, humidity, battery, CO₂, whatever you like. I built it because I wanted something clean and flexible that I could use across a bunch of different sensors without needing a separate card for each one.
Some highlights:
- Three colour modes : gradient (with custom stop colours), severity bands, and single colour
- Peak marker to catch brief spikes you might otherwise miss
- Target marker for goals or thresholds
- Four label positions : left, above, inside, or off
- Fully animated bar transitions
- Per-entity overrides for everything
Available via HACS as a custom repository, or manual install.
Would love any feedback, bug reports, or feature requests… issues and PRs are very welcome. Being my first card I’m sure there’s plenty of room to improve!
