Same here on iPad 4th gen with iOS 10.3.3, did anyone find a fix for those older devices? Or even an alternative?

This is still a thing. Does anyone have a solution?

A simple reload of the mushroom card entity fixed it. Sigh.

Same problem for me. iPad 4th gen won’t display custom cards.

Bummer as it makes it difficult to make beautiful dashboards!

If anyone knows a workaround, please let me know

Actually I seem to have limited succes with this: [reddit post]

  • Go to Dashboards
  • Click three dots top-right to go to Resources
  • Click Add Resource with URL /hacsfiles/test.js
  • I’m not sure if the file actually needs to be present - you could always execute “touch test.js” in the /www/community/ folder (which is the alias for the /hacsfiles/ folder)

For me it makes the “Custom element doesn’t exist” warning go away. Some cards still don’t work e.g. Apexcharts, but others do.
