looking at the ESL-2 Install & Program Manual there is a config option that would require the code before arm

and

as _attr_code_arm_required = True has been in the source for a few years you would have had this warning before. Therefore I wonder if I should actually change this behaviour

Update:
Created a PR to fix the current deprecation warnings, version has been running in my installation for 2 weeks

Ok guys, since i was still working with early 2024 HA version i did not had these warnings. Now that i update to latest version of HA ; i also have the same problems . I tried to look into the code and since it’s been quite a while, i realized I don’t remember anything about the code at all!!! Being an old man have its own drawbacks on forgetting complex things .

Thanks @kiwidan for all the work about the PR. If everyone tested and agrees on the change, i can merge the PR (at least i remember how to do that; i hope…)

EDIT: I realized @kiwidan already made a fork. Nevermind, we can proceed from there on now… Thanks again…

EDIT2: Testing the @kiwidan dev version with Crow 8/16 and it looks like it works well for now.

@febalci You might have noticed that I updated the pycrowipmodule to 0.31b0 to address the deactivate bug. I also forgot to update the CHANGES file

did you get any further with this issue?

I picked up a USB-TTL cable today and seem to have the same issue…
“Connecting” with TX and RX light blinking but CD doesn’t light up

The TTL cable is in 3.3v mode RX → TX & TX → RX, Grd in Pin 11
I tried runner v1.04 and UDL16 neither work.

Hello guys,
I need your help
I have a Crow Runner alarm with the ip module, and I can no longer control the alarm remotely, using the “Elite Control” application.
I have already reset the module, through the configuration page, changed the serial number, tried to add the alarm again by entering the mac address and the serial number, but the error always appears: not connected. check panel!
Can you help?

AAP sunseted the EliteControl App.

Either you upgrade to EliteCloud or you use a custom integrations.
