I believe that many people have had an “Intent Error” or something similar and struggling with whether their LLM has tool usage or just straight up “Web Search Access”.
Can anyone share their successes using this native with full tool support or the “when I speak to the AI and I listen to their response” why doesn’t the microphone listen again for my follow-up?
PSA: Make sure you go to platform.openai.com and hit Usage or Limits where you can enable the models, that should save you some headache. Hit up gpt-4.1-mini for the cheapest API price.
