This is a basic Generic Water Heater that joins a switch and a temperature sensor to control a water reservoir.
In my use case I have a large deposit of water (300L) that is heated through a thermal solar panel, yet if there is no sun and/or the temperature in the deposit is low, an electric resistor controlled by a smart plug will provide additional heat to the water. A sensor inside the deposit provides information about the water temperature to Home Assistant.
