I’m a node-red and homebridge user who have just also installed Hass through the DietPi (raspbian flavour) software installer on my RPi3.
I did this to get access to the NIBE Uplink API via a component for this in Hass.
Why aren’t all components installable from Hass and many have to be clumsily downloaded from Github and manually put in “custom_components”? Tough to keep updated too. What are the best practices for this?
Where is the correct custom_components directory on a DietPI installation?
Is it possible to ditch the “callback URL” for the NIBE Uplink API component for unexposed devices? Or are there free relays that work on non-docker RPi3s?
