I’m now thinking about ripping the smart electronic guts out, leaving the dumb switch stuff and putting a simple relay in there. But Smarter did drop an email beginning of this year saying they were hoping to sort it out. I reckon they are trying to develop their own version of the Electric Imp (appears as “Rachio” on my network) and port everything over. Either that or they are going tits up.
I’ve away at the moment, but saw a message from Smarter.am saying that the service (their app, and presumably the backend) was back online… and working. Is this what folk are finding? or is it more Smarter.am BS?! If yes, then I presume, unless they’ve changed something with the interface, this API should also be back working…?
