Hello, I have the SP548E and would love to see support added for this as well
Hi,
While searching for a way to get more out of my LED strip with the SP611E, I came across this project.
I have the following issues with the current release version:
1. Installation via Hacs doesnât work because the repository is not recognized and therefore cannot be added.
2. After manual installation, I always get the message âno devices found on the network.â
Current situation: HA on RPI4 in the basement. Shelly Mini with active Bluetooth proxy right next to the SP611E controller.
Can anyone confirm these issues or does anyone have a solution for them?
Thank you in advance.
I would also love to see added support for the SP530E!
Iâll be honest I bought a mini PC to run home assistant just for integration⌠whoops haha. Searching for a way to automate my SP530E led me here, but I guess I didnât take a close look at the supported controllers.
Scratch that! I was skimming the github repo and saw that SP530E has already been added in the beta
Some notes for people who may be completely new to home assistant like I am:
- Make sure you download the beta version through HACS (3.0.10 beta 11 is the latest, as of writing this). By default HACS downloaded 2.2.6, which doesnât have support for SP530E
- It only works with wifi. Since Iâve only been using bluetooth via banlanX, I had to first go into the app and set up wifi for the controller. If youâre connected to wifi, the blue LED on the controller should turn green.
- Once Uniled was installed, I had to go into:
Settings > Devices and Services > Devices > Add Device
HA was able to see and connect to my device just fine. If something goes wrong for you, there are some troubleshooting steps you can try here:
Thank you so much to monty68 for making this possible, and all the hard work from the contributors!!
thanks for the contribution.
I have a 530e, and works fine, one thing I miss is that I can´t choose the led color, is that a bug?
