I just finished a small integration that makes it possible to have you lights adapt to what you are looking at on your TV (Android media player) :
It takes a screenshot through adb, analyses the colors near the edges and sends these colors to the assigned lights. The effect is not as strong as a real Philips Ambilight device but it is a nice extra immersion when you are watching a movie.
