Custom integration for Jackery portable power station batteries

I have the Explorer 2000, and I noticed its hostname popped up as “espressif”, so I checked it out. It is indeed a C3 Mini according to the FCC label. In the spirit of having things local, I have half a mind to write my own firmware. Kind of silly that Jackery went the cloud only route for a portable power station (in my opinion).

But if I can get the thing to connect to my network, I’ll check out the custom integration above. Thanks, Akshay!

It looks like someone reverse engineered bluetooth on Jackery devices and they claim that you no longer need jackery cloud account to manage your Jacks… GitHub - porcupin26/private_jack: Native support Jackery devices in Home Assistant - no account neded, no calling home...

Will be trying it soon…

This is freaking awesome! Now I can track solar input and device output historically over time and as the OP was requesting, I can set my smart plug to turn on AC to charge it up as a backup on cloudy days.
I run a J5000 to power my home office in a similar setup to the OP

That is exactly what I am looking for. Unfortunately it is not compatible with my 2000 Ultra.
However with the help of claude.ai I managed to develop my own custom integration which works for my Jackery 2000 Ultra. The first version of the integration shows the SOC, available capacity and Input/Output AC Power.
