Sorry, I will elaborate. A couple of years ago I bought a Passat (ICE). I connected that to the We connect app. One year ago, when we got our ID3, I downloaded the ID connect app and added the ID3 to that app. But hwn I did that, my Passat was already present in the ID app. Maybe because I used the same account/credentials as I did when I created the account for We connect for ICE cars.
So, when you added the “is electric car” check, I wasn’t able to add the ID car since I also had an non electric car connected also. When I removed the non electric and only had my electric car, then it worked.
So now I only have one car in HA, the ID3. Before you added the check, I had both my cars.
Not a Biggie for me, but maybe for other people. Just giving you a heads up.
Thanks for the effort. I gave it a go, installed the main branch via HACS, but get a error. I opened an issue in GitHub. Basically the Waiting screen also pops up, as described by @Henke22 .
@Henke22 Which old version did you install that worked?
I am not sure what the issue might be. I did have the same problem, but it disappeared and I do not know why or what I did.
Do you also have one electric car and a petrol/diesel car in your account?
Did not see any error messages. Some of the entities were flagged as unavailable. Might be that EUp not ID. Will try again in a couple of weeks when I’ve some spare time.
hello, i have view usefully services like set climate, or start stop charge. Is possible to create a frontend card on home assistant for choice temperature or a start-stop or charge speed with dropdown menu?? How??
Hi, I have tried to install my wife’s ID3 on this integration. She did not get any pin when she linked the connect app to the car. I cannot get the integration to start. Any tips, please?
I am very sorry, I cannot find this integration in Hacs or the main integrations menu. I have searched for every variation I could think of (Volkswagen, connect, vw, id etc). I have the latest hacs 1.23.
