Is there anyway to send over default automations or scripts to HA from a custom MQTT device? I believe I saw this on one of my devices, but can’t find an example.
Here are all the entities you can create using MQTT.
Notably absent from the list is the ability to create scripts and automations.

Thanks. This is helpful. I wonder which could be used as a simple audio player. Not music, just simple audio streams. Siren or Text stand out for me immediately. I might have to get creative.
No. And there’s a good chance it wasn’t an MQTT device either.
