Hey, not really sure if this is possible but I really want to know if there is a way to display a custom message on the frontend when home assistant goes offline, probably won’t work because its offline but idk can anyone help me out?
Home Assistant is a web application and when it is offline, browsers are able to show some local files to give a message to user (similar to gmail).
So, you can create a feature request to be able to include a custom message into that layer, technically possible.
I’m not sure that it’s what you want, but HERE there’s google sheets website monitor, which sends an email when your site is down
Of course, you must read an email to find out that page is down…
