ah I see… it’s in the icons folder your one and mine is in the root. I’ll copy the zip to that folder… you’re in my personal repo there, not the card repo…

A few people less than loved the new icons… I’m a bit ambivalent myself TBH. Anyway, there is a weather_icons_OLD.zip file where I overwrite the new icons with the old ones. So download that zip if you hate the new ones and overwrite your icons. Don’t forget to refresh cache a few times.
I don’t recommend reverting to the old card otherwise you will eventually update and break it again…

Hey @DavidFW1960 I love this card and I’m thinking that since it doesn’t require BOM data to be used, would it not be a good idea to change the name? (obviously just for for the Lovelace card not the data collection side)
It seems others are looking for weather cards that are able to use whatever data source they want but they likely overlook this one because it refers to BOM
maybe… it does have stuff unique to BOM though like UV and Fire Danger… I dunno Dave… opens it up to many more people asking questions etc as well… I will think about it.

I definitely see your point with this one. It could be a nightmare, at least until more people use it and can answer questions for you
Yes they are optional… just a possible confusion.
I’m happy to tell people they can use the card and the Github now says you can use any data provider as well… less emphasis on BOM… People outside Australia don’t know who/what BOM is anyway.
I’m happy to get some additional views on this if anyone feels strongly about it please chime in…

Further to what Tom said, it looks like you never downloaded the updated icon file. You need to download and extract that even if you don’t want to use the new icons. (I renamed one of the old icons)

I don’t seem to be able to revert to the old icons by adding the old_icon option. Have done many browser refreshes.
If you grabbed the latest icons file with new and old icons in it that is all you need… can you show your lovelace config for the card? I’m guessing the line is in the wrong place… or it’s not in quotes…

Can you check you have the latest file js file? Did you use HACS? My personal repo version is different to release version BTW. (I’m running mostly old icons but a few of the new ones) Make sure you have the icons from the repo (should be the same as my personal repo)

Yes to HACS install. I’m pretty sure I have your personal icons according to our posts above.
I searched the js file for “old_icon” and got no results. Reinstalled through HACS, did the search again and got multiple hits. One CTRL + F5 later and old icons are back. Very odd the js file didn’t update the first time.
