I created scenes inside the cync app and I have the HACS installed for these lights. They pulled in the light but none of the scene.
Anyone have the same issue and how did they fix it.

Hello Noodle,
That’s not usually how it works.
If you want to automate the devices in Home Assistant, you will have to use tools inside Home Assistant not another app. The exception is integrations that are built for HA that will do special things with the devices,
I think it’s a Cync issue, since this is a HACS addon that wasn’t pulled into HA as a known scene. I have Philips Hue lights as well and the scenes built in that app pulled into HA. When I tried to create a new scene inside HA and add the kitchen lights or living room lamps they show as 1 entity instead of individual lights.
Unless someone else has other ideas on how to get Cync by GE lights to work with custom scene inside HA then I will just create the scene inside the Cync app and run those on a schedule.
In general, HACS doesn’t have add-ons or apps.
HACS is a loader program that helps you install stuff from GitHub and track when it was updated. Nothing else.
Very few Integrations can do what you ask, so you are probably on the right course if you don’t want to use the HA tools.
Okay that makes sense.
I did use HACS to install the Cync by GE add-on from Github and once it was installed it had to login to my account and pulled in my stuff. But it was just the groups I created and not the individual lights or the scenes I built.
Like I said, it just must be an issue from that side and someone, smarted than I am, hasn’t been able to figure out how to pull the scenes from the Cync applications/account.
Thank you for the help.
