Does anyone know whether D-Link have withdrawn IFTTT support for the DSP-W118? I have 4 plugs that have been working happily with IFTTT for a couple of years, sadly within the last couple of days no longer.
Can’t get any info from D-Link
Further info:
No change in settings by me but plugs seem to be back on IFTTT again. Tech support for these plugs finished at the start of the year so I guess I’ll have to find alternative ways of integrating them. The D-Link integration doesn’t seem to work with these guys
I am having the same issue. Originally I thought it was caused by my own phone until I google and found your post. Do you have any luck to make it work again?
A quick update:
After I relinked the dlink app from the ifttt app, everything is now working perfectly again. Because of that, I don’t think that Dlink really drops the service.
I finally found a way to make it work. If you have Nabu Casa, then setting it up via Alexa was fairly simple.
My use case is to power cycle a subwoofer whenever I turn on my TV, so I made a door sensor that shows open door whenever my TV is on, then exposing that door sensor to Alexa and configuring a routine in the Alexa app to turn off the DSP-W118 whenever the door closes and turn it on when the door opens. Instant response compared to how IFTTT worked.
