I want to know the correct process to install the same EspHome code to a new D1 mini since the original one died. I have installed the code on the new D1 mini but HA gets confused, it things it’s a duplicate, and appends a _1 at the end of the node causing all my automations to fail. Any help would be appreciated.
Remove old via esphome integration and re add. Via ip adress or might auto discover.

Remove the old and new one. Then re add the new one.
Then add the new one again should get the old Id’s.
I’m to slow on writing. It was answered already.
