Dahua VTO to MQTT Broker

can you share more details about the issues you have?

I’m having same issues. Is there already addon with updates from “2021-Jan-15” and “2021-Jan-21” versions available?

Will it work on this model?

It also controls a relay.

Yup, just replaced my previous unit with that model

You can remoce the addon and reinstall, it will build the docker image locally

And is the relay that is controlled using the keypad recognized and can be controlled?

Hi @bar, I just updated the docker version of this and now I can get my doorbell to ring when someone presses the call button - thanks!

However, I notice that it still fails to reconnect to the VTO if it gets disconnected - rebooting the VTO seems to be handeled OK now.

It publishes list of events (documentation of events available in GitHub) from the unit and also allows to open the gate / door

hi @bar hass-io addon do not reconnects to the vto if vto reboots. i think there were no such issue some versions before. is there any way to fix it?

After a while VTO is disconnected:
2021-02-06 11:37:49,627 WARNING asyncio socket.send() raised exception.
2021-02-06 11:38:44,629 INFO main Keep alive

Docker or addon?

Addon (sorry I forgot to mention it)

Are you on the latest version?

Ja, updated yesterday.

There is also another error, I noticed now, after service restart:

Add-on: DahuaVTO2MQTT
Listens to events from Dahua VTO unit and publishes them via MQTT Message

Add-on version: 1.0.13
You are running the latest version of this add-on.

Please, share the above information when looking for help
or support in, e.g., GitHub, forums or the Discord chat.

In general I can’t support the addon since I’m using core version, the addon is just wrapper that rebuilds thr image every time someone installs it,
I know that there are issues with the addon for raspberry pi, but I need assistance to make it work fluently.

Not sure about what would you like me to share, can you please elaborate?

Thanks

There is an error about “:”. How can I support you?

this is an issue which I cannot assist, since I’m not owning HA with addons (supervisor), I will check this issue in few more days and get back to you if I find something about it,
for now, I think it’s best to use it as docker not an addon

I must say, didn’t understand

so docker image can reconnect to the vto after it’s reboot but addon can’t?

Hi,
First of all, thanks for this software. I’m testing it right now with a VTO2101E-P-S1.
So far, so good. But why is this device not listed as supported?
