Just updated iphone app and now it wants to update Airbase. I found on website that they added Google/Alexa support. No release notes whatsoever. Have anyone tried to upgrade it?
I had the same issue today where the Daikin Airbase Android app was forcing me to update my BRP15B61 to the 1.2.1 firmware as well. I bit the bullet, held my breath, and applied it. So far the local API integration is still working, so far so good I guess…!

Could someone double confirm that Airbase with firmware 1.2.1 works with home assistant and local APIs? I hate the Daikin app as it is very slow but it does provide a backup in case HA is offline.
Also, how does the new Airbase 1.2.1 can connect to Alexa? Has any one tried it and got it to work?

Hi all,
I too updated the app on my iPhone and now it is asking for the firmware to be updated.
When i apply to have it updated it gives me the following message
I’m connected to the home wifi nothing has changed but it will not update.
Any assistance with this is much appreciated.

Does Daikin Airbase firmware version 1.2.1 break the Home Assistant integration or not. I am currently on version 1.1.8.
The image you posted shows text saying NOTSUPPORT in the Device info box which seems to imply a problem with that firmware.

Bit of a late response but just to say thanks - I updated the Daikin app and it still works with the HA integration.
