Daikin Integration problem

Hi,
heard, that we have a working integration for newer Daikin models.
I tried it, I know my IP-Address but were to get the ‘API’-Key?
I have an SSID and a Key for that WLAN, but thats not the right stuff, I guess.

Thanks for helping.

With best regards

Gerhard

Hello Gerhard Kreuzer,

I think your answer is here…

On that page in particular:

Thanks a lot, but …

I used the ‘Onecta’ app to integrate one box to my own WiFi, and this works.
The box gets an IP from my DHCP.
==> I know the IP for sure.
In the app, I see ‘Adapter: BRP069C4x’ ==> I have to left the fields Api-Key and Pwd blank.

After doing so, I get an ‘Unexpected Error’ message.

What do I wrong?

When I ping the IP of the box, I get positiv response, so the network stuff is not an issue, isn’t it?

Any ideas to try something out?

Edited:
In LogViewer I found now:
2025-03-10 10:48:54.108 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.daikin.config_flow] Empty values.
==> Correct, I was forced to do so …

With best regards

Gerhard

You can only use the third party cloud integration for that model.

You need to sign up for an API key. See:

Ok, to say it short:
Cloud, or another WiFi adapter needed …

==> Cloud is a no go, I have to look for another adapter for my 10 boxes.

Any suggestions? Faikin?

With best regards

Gerhard

Faikin is very good.

Thanks, will check that.
