I am new to HA, and i got in charge to control 23 Daikin VRV Units that will be installed in a new home, I am looking for reliable alternatives. I will keep a eye on this post. I already emailed Arnold and hope he can help me out

I sell ready use boards too, it is my own design and firmware, you can check previous post here or DM me.

Are these compatible with Heatpumps? Daikin Altherma 4 in particular?

I think that’s what they started out with, and then moved on to the air conditioner units. Probably best to read the p1p2 GitHub page as there is loads of infor about the compatible models

Hi everyone,

I have a Daikin wall controller, but I can’t figure out the P1/P2 interface on the board. On the board, I only see four pins labeled:
• TX/RECV
• TX
• VCC (5V)
• GND (0V)

All pins except VCC are 3.3V.

Is this a UART interface or something else? And how can I integrate this controller into Home Assistant?

Thanks in advance for any guidance!

You can check Faikin project on the github

Are you still planning to release the schematics? I’m curious to see how that is different from MM1192.

No, I’m not — I’m just thinking about the basic driver in C code. But you can find the schematic in the original project or on the manufacturer’s website (just search the chip name on Google). They even sell a kit for about $100.
If you only plan to make a few boards yourself, a better option is to buy a pre-assembled board — it will be much cheaper than making it on your own.

sorry alrady messaged to telegram

Late reply but if it using wall remote like BRC1E63/73 or Madoka it can work.

The thin board is cool. Do you sell that version?

Now it is out stock, and that version the WiFi signal a bit weak (If you place it behind the wall remote), you can buy new version, size 43x43x20mm weight 24 gram. If you still want that version, contact us on the Facebook page in my signature

Do you have an aliexpress link? tbb is a pain.

I don’t have facebook - can you DM me please. I probably could have gotten away with the weak WiFi signal as this house has insanely strong WiFi everywhere and I didn’t want to have to get up into the ceiling to install stuff, but let’s see if I can find a way to make it work.

Check your inbox, I have sent you some information.

I understand that there is generally a limit of 2 controllers for daikin ducted systems. Do you know if yours will count towards to limit of 2, or will I be able to run yours + 2 additional daikin controllers?

My module follow the limit, it is 2 or three depend on the model, F series is only 2, if you want 3, it will be read only mode. Our module can be running in both Main RC and Sub RC mode for F series, more detail you can send message or chat with my Facebook page.
