I would like the energy dashboard to provide an indicator on energy consumption in comparison to the previous day.
Ideally this would simply provide an indicator on wether the consumption on the current day has increased or decreased.
The indicator for the day should be in two parts 1) trend in comparison to the last 24 hours and 2) energy total cost for the day compared to the previous total cost for the day - these indicators should be shown for gas, electric, Solar etc.
The indicators should be revealed as sensors by default in home assistant
Additionally the total cost calculations shown on the energy card should be revealed as sensors in home assistant.
The end game for this is to send messages on a daily basis detailing the daily consumption and wether it has increased or decreased which will then prompt the user to review the energy consumption.
