So I was tired of only being able to notify myself for 1 event off each calendar for a given day, so I wrote a custom_component which would allow me to get all events for a date range and add them into one notification. If you are looking for something similar feel free to checkout it out. It is a custom HACS plugin that you can install that way or just copy the contents of the custom_component directory into your custom_components.
