I’m trying to create a daily schedule with a countdown down to the minute with color changing for events. For example:
8:00am to 8:15am get ready. I’m looking to have a coutdown that we have x minutes left and have it change color when time is up and play alerts or something via alexa or the tablet. I am hoping to have this pull from the calander entity with either local cal or google cal.
That is one example, but for example when we get home from school homework time, shower time, play etc… My daughter needs lots of structure but craves independance, so I’m hoping this will help. I can’t seem to get any countdown type of system going. Does anyone have any recomendations how to do this? Would even pay for a working card.
Will spending time on this instead of quality parenting time with your kid or hiring a nanny be the most productive and of long-term benefit?
A child that can make wise decisions is a delight. A child that can blindly follow prompts on a screen is an incredible bore and will not make an adult that can be of much use to society. A child constrained by disability can be assisted, but you need variety and stimulus as well to empower them to flourish and lead rewarding lived.
Kids don’t come with a manual (or yaml code)!
Wait till they become teenagers - a grunt will be a delightful communication objective!
There is a family task orientated addon discussion that crops up regularly that may fit your needs with adaptation, but the name escapes me right now.
