Danalock V3, Z-Wave JS or Zigbee. Status?

Yes, the Danalock app says that I’m already running the latest version (0.21.7) and there’s no option to flash it anyway.

From what I remember, it used to be possible to flash Danalock multiple times, even though it showed the current software version.

The button to upload a new firmware was not active as it detected that I already had the latest firmware. No matter, I have resolved the issue by replacing the lock.

I had integrated the lock in HA last year, but I only used it with Danalock app, yesterday I wanted to use it with HA but I only see the ping entity. Can anyone tell me if it has the same problem or works well? To solve it I have to uninstall and reinstall the lock? Thanks

I have used the Zigbee version of the lock with Zigbee2MQTT, and am currently using the Z-Wave version of the lock with Z-Wave JS. They both work fine, and you should see a lock.* entity.

What version of the lock are you using, and in combination with what setup in Home Assistant?

Thanks for answering me, I have the Zwawe version, I managed to solve it, first I reset the zwawe key but it didn’t work, then I disconnected the danalock lock from the mobile app. Re-associated with the phone app and then with Home Assistant and everything worked again.

For everybody who wants to know. My Danalock v3 z-wave stopped working after 6 years. Why? Because a sensor for the lock position is broken according to Danalock. They offered me to buy a new one with new versions of the motor and sensor (though it’s still named V3) with some discount. I decided to buy Tedee Go instead. Time will tell if that is wise.

I will open up the Danalock and see if I can replace the sensor by myself. If so, I will upload a tutorial how to do this and which sensor can be used as a replacement.
