You don’t need the file editor but a way to upload the BM js file to your system and add the resource in dashboards.
You can go on for a long time why it doesn’t work the way you hope or find an alternative.

Fair enough. Well, I’ll either persevere or give up. Thanks for your help.
@Nicolo_Bartolomei: would you please mind moving the solution checkmark to post #7 which has the link for browser_mod?
Little addendum here: even if you limit the app via dashboards etc to only show specific entities, the user account can still send off requests to all the entities. HA does not support restricting access to specific entities, as far as I know.
I’ve set this up, but it appears that even though I can hide the side bar, I can’t seem to make it so that the sidebar cannot be expanded. This gives each person the ability to expand the sidebar and select whichever dashboards they want. I would like to restrict the users (there are multiple) to only one dashboard designed just for them. Is this possible?
Edit: Never mind…there’s an option in the user settings to change the order and edit which items are in the sidebar.
Edit Edit: But I see they can still go in and add them back even without admin privlidges.
