I am new to HA. I hooked up a 6 channel power sensor, and can see some of the data in the History display, but cannot see it in the Overview. I imagine that either the data is not being saved to the database, or the Overview Cards cannot find the data.
Is there a list of things to check for this situation?

Prior to all of this, I installed MariaDB, thinking that it would help with disk efficiency. I tried commenting out the MariaDB portion of the configuration.yaml file, and restarted HA. While I lost all of the MariaDB history, I still am unable to see any data in the Overview, even while seeing it accumulate in History. The card type is History Graph. Not sure what units the Refresh Interval is in.
I fiddled randomly until I found a place that allowed me to add entities to Lovelace. Why I would need to do that is unclear. Anyway. At this point the data is appearing in the Overview. It took a lot of flailing to get here.
