DCS Alarm panel and Android Auto

With the new Android auto feature access my garage door has been working great. However I would like to also be able to disarm my home alarm using the DCS integration but it does not show up in the Android Auto screen. How do I enable this or is it a feature request.

Thanks.

Feature request. They only enabled entities that support a toggle service in the early release. Things like security systems that need more buttons require more UI to work.

Also don’t forget to vote for your own.

Thanks for the explanation and update. Looking forward to more UI work being done.

I’ve just had a great idea for the Android auto /carplay app.

When arriving home pop up home assistant app in the car with an Alarm Panel to disable the alarm. This is a killer feature!

Im shocked, it’s still not in, especially for the alarms that dont require code to disarm. I have an alarm that gets disabled by simple button press on the alarm console in HA, but still cant get that functionality in the car, so instead of using android auto to open the gate (which works no problem as this is a switch) and to disarm alarm I have to pull my phone out of my pocket and do the alarm, or both there. Really a missing opportunity for a killer feature
