Decibel Meter for hoons/heavy vehicles

We live on a T-Section that is notorious for hoons.

At this point in time everytime an incident happens I usually notice by fresh burnout marks on the road. I have to spend 30 mins to an hour trawling through footage (especially if it happens at night) to find the car doing a burnout.

I need a high quality decibel meter that integrates with home assistant.

I also want to use it to record instances where there’s heavy vehicles travelling down our street so I can flag this with the council. Hence why I need a good quality mic

Can anyone recommend a mic for me to purchase? Money is no problem, I want the best of the best

You could try something like this and see if someone can help you DIY a way to forward the data into HA.

Other option is:

Frigate plus a camera with mic does it for you. Our C210 wired up to Frigate shows up with a decibel sensor in HA. You can even set off in HA an automation that fires when sound goes above some decibel threshold.

Please consider moving. Family will be better off somewhere else. Money is no object, right?
