I’m running the last release of deconZ (6.15.0)
For the most part it works well with the devices I tried - which are mostly Aqara sensors
I bought these sensors a few years ago and they are working well with my Sansung SmartThings Hub, but I want to move them away , and the Decon II seemed a good solution
Some time ago, I bought some Aqara sensors, and now I’m comparing them they seem to be the “new variety”
I have managed to add the "new " sensors without problems, but for the older ones they are not detected correctly: Some are detected as “Windows Door Sensor” but when I check the sub-entities they do contain a battery , or a temp sensor, but not a binary sensor. Others are detected as a “dimmer sensor”.
I suspect the issue is not as much the deCONZ addon ( I think it detetects the sensors correctly) , but the actual Home Assistant DeconZ Integration: As I said if I check they are all detected as “lumi.sensor_magnet”, but their sub-devices vary
To be honest it will a shame if Ihad to replace the old devices for the new ones
Has anybody experienced the same problems?
Thanks
