No I haven’t. I am heading to it thanks!
I read through the Fyrtur thread and I managed to add it to Deconz as light. Now it is visible in Phoscon app as Light 1. It is also available in Home Assistant as cover.light_1
however it doesn’t respond to open or close buttons and the position slider. I can click on all the controls but nothing happens. What is missing? Thanks
I have no idea. Can you enable debug and share logs of these behaviors?
It is weird. I went for shopping and when I came back after an hour it was working. Control buttons and slider worked as well from HA.
Later I pressed the two buttons on the blind just for a moment to pair the open/close remote to the blind again (I want to control it with the remote and from HA as well). But since then it doesn’t work.
Probably I have to do the pairing to Phoscon and start everything from the beginning.
Does it mean that it can’t be controlled/paired with it’s remote and HA simultaneously?
It can, I think there is some issue that will be resolved with 2.05.70 to simplify pairing remote and cover. If you go through the old web frontend you’re supposed to be able to pair them.
There are documented discussions on this on deconz GitHub
I read about it but I don’t think I can access the old WebApp. I am on hass.io and used VNC to see the GUI but when I click on WebApp button (top right corner) nothing happens. I guess it wants to open locally on the pi.
You accès the old web gui from the new web gui, I think it is under help or similar
Indeed. In the old WebApp I could add the remote without any problem and it appeared as TRADFRI open/close remote
in Control and in the Groups section. In the groups section I added the Light 1 as a member of TRADFRI open/close remote. As far as I can understand this somehow groups them and the remote will control the blind. And it is working. However the behavior is very strange. When I press the remote to close the blind it takes exactly 1 minute and 8 seconds to start moving. The delay is the same in the opposite direction. So if I move the position slider in Home Assistant it works immediately, but if I use the remote button which is now paired to deconz (I can see the button press events listening to deconz_event
) there is 1 minute 8 seconds delay before the blind moves. It is far beyond my understanding of this.
Maybe I should just setup a regular automation based on deconz_event
when the remote is pressed, to move the blind to a preset position.
Can someone tell me what’s the purposes of the “signal repeater” came with the blind and has to be plugged into AC or USB? Can I remove that from the system?
Nevermind. After a complete reboot now it works with approximately 1 second delay which is acceptable.
Thanks for all the help.
Warning for those of you running @marthocoo deCONZ container there is some issue making the latest release broken, don’t upgrade to the release 2.05.69 built 14th of September
In my setup i use philips motion sensors to turn on (and after some time off) some bulbs. In other areas I use philips motion sensors and xiaomi door sensors to turn on a couple of bulbs. All this is done with with HA automations.
I thought that it is possible to pair the sensors to turn on the bulbs so when the sensor is activated the bulbs turn on (I’m trying to add more security to the system in case of a HA failure). Maybe with “Bind Dropbox”? I tried to bind sensors and bulbs together but never managed to make it work.
Has anyone got it working?
Should be safe to go back to latest on 2.05.69, I reverted the change that broke the image.
Thanks for the heads up. I received my ConBee II stick this weekend and started setting up my ZigBee devices (Ikea and Aqara) using the faulty docker image. Most things seemed to work. Only thing I could not get to work was the VNC setup. After downgrading to the previous image VNC started to work.
Unfortunately after the downgrade my ConBee/Phoscon lost the connection to all of my ZigBee devices. They where still visible in Phoscon and Home Assistant, I just could not send any commands, sensors went silent. Had to actually re-pair all of them.
Is it known if the downgrade could damage the pairing of devices? Or did Conbee/Phoscon loose the connection independently of the downgrade of the docker image?
I am running version 02.05.67 - when running the command to check a new firmware - the response is that I am running the latest version.
I even tried removing the docker container and installing a new one - but again version 02.05.67 got installed.
After removing the current container, run docker pull marthoc/deconz. Then recreate the container.
Ok, will do that this evening - thanks!
Works like a charm now - thanks!
I added some Xiaomi Door/Window Sensors - After a while one of the 3 sensors did not respond anymore.
Removed the sensor and added again - the sensor started working.
Then a while later, the second sensor as well started doing the same - same process of removing and adding again was followed.
So far the 3rd sensor kept responding.
This morning everything was still responding…
Strange…
Does anybody have knowledge of the Xiaomi Door Window Sensors sometimes doing this?
I am running the latest version of Docker Marthoc/Deconz 02.05.69
@DieterClaeys same here .I got some Xiaomi motion sensors which stop responding and after readding them they work again . Sometimes I’ve the feeling it’s not really stable with devices which don’t send ping or whatever in a certain time.its like deconz forgets them
Same here, xiaomi doesn’t work reliable… What do you use as routers? I only have Osram plugs, now bought Ikea plugs to test… but not yet paired them, will do it by the end of week
