[Deconz] State of Hue lights doesn't update if powered on external

Since a few weeks the state of my Hue/Zigbee Lights won’t update in HomeAssistant. For example a shelf lamp has it’S own line switch. Sometimes we switch it off and on by this hardware switch. The light turns on but the state stays off in Home assistant. If I read the state on the Deconz VNC Interface it shows on=true.

Any Ideas?

If you switch it off by the hardware switch then it was probably on at that time.
It is probably that on state you still see in the Deconz log.

I have found that both Deconz and ZHA take anywhere from 1 to 60 seconds to update the state when a bulb is re-connected to power.

True story, if i take away the power, deconz shows onoff bool true

No the state doesn’t change to on even if I wait a few minutes. And this worked before as supposed

Updating the state to “unavailable” when the power is off depends on how long Deconz waits to decide the device has dropped off the network. You can configure this time in ZHA, but I don’t remember if you can for Deconz.

Thats one thing, but if the light shines bright, it should be shown in HomeAssistant shouldn’t it?

It should. I’ve found this sometimes takes between 1 and 60 seconds to show up, and sometimes bulbs lose their network connection and have to be re-added. But that is just with my IKEA bulbs and ZHA, so I don’t know if it is a general thing.

Of course. I can control them but if I don’t make anything the lamp shows as “off” even if it’s on for 10 Minutes
