I reported recently that the keys on the numeric keypad of the default alarm control panel had shrunk when updating to 0.87. Further update to 88.2 and the results were the same
My report ended up on the GitHub and this was the response I received and the issue was closed. https://github.com/home-assistant/home-assistant-polymer/issues/2852#issuecomment-470651714
From the response I assume the numeric keypad will remain shrunk now.
Perhaps time to look at the Lovelace UI? Does it look acceptable there?
You may be able to look at the changes made to 0.87 and make you own custom control panel without those changes.
If you choose to make a custom component you may want to upgrade to 0.89.1 when it is released to get the new custom component paths.
Just a thought.
I’m looking for nothing fancy. I just wanted to be able to see the numeric keypad when trying to press the keys like I could in 0.87
It’s the Lovelace UI I’m looking at. That’s where I’m seeing the tiny numbers and the button effect has disappeared. As I said this the default panel so I’ve done nothing to change its appearance.
