Default background of state-icon for specific domains

Hi community,

I’m looking for a solution to define the background of a state icon within the front-end themes.
For instance :

  • background of cover-state icon in blue
  • background of light state-icon in green
    Until now it only works in the card mode, using the background setting in the style of a state-icon, but I need it to be set from within the theme.
    What is the right way to configure that in a theme?

Secondly, I also want to resize the symbol with the state-icon separately in card mode, without the full icon background to resize with it. What is the right way for that?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
