Is there an easy way for me to use a button or light card to turn on a light but have it come on red for example or whatever default color i choose? Cant seem to find the option.
The tap action and its associated service data is what you want. You will only be able to call the light turn on service, not toggle or off services, so you will need another button for off.
That should work fine. I have a light card right above it for my daughters ceiling fan lights. I just wanted to have several different preset color option/buttons below it. Where do I get the service data? Is there a few lines of code I need to add to tell it to be a certain color or can i find this in the visual options?
