Apparently the default notification sound on IOS17 has changed - and you cannot change it yourself!

A bit annoying 
The app could offer an option of notification sound from what I understand - similar to how the messages app does. Could this be implemented, or is there an easy to change it in some other way?
I note within the application configuration there is an option to listen to all the different available sounds - but no way to actually set one.
