The default birth and will in 0.113.x is not working here.
When I restart HA I always do a manual publish “hass/status” payload: “online” so Zwave2MQTT load all the Zwave entities.
How can I figure out why this is not working correct?

I never have to do that in HA because I have HA Discovery turned on in zwave2mqtt with the Retained option enabled. As well, I have “persistence true” in my mosquitto.conf so that the zwave devices are always there whether HA , zwave2mqtt or the MQTT broker is restarted…
