How to specify delay_on delay_off auto_off on binary template sensors created from the UI?
Currently advanced features like delay_on, triggers, and auto_off are not supported for template entities created in the Template helper. If you want to use those features you need to set up your sensor using YAML configuration.
I assume this is still the case? Is this a feature request?
Yes, it is still the case. Based on recent posts on Github it doesn’t seem likely that any of the advanced features will be ported over to the Template Helpers any time soon.
