Delete Aqara Zigbee devices that shows up as Homekit devices from HA

Hello folks,

Although I have a feeling someone out there must have asked this, I can’t seem to find a to-the-point answer to solve the issue.

I have a couple of problematic Aqara motion sensors that I have to exchange, and as such I’ve removed them from my Aqara E1 Hub. They no longer show up on my Aqara app.

However, I seem to not be able to remove those problematic devices from HA at all. I’ve removed the entities related to those devices from HA, restarted HA, and yet they will not disappear. Entities, as mentioned, are no longer there, and I don’t see any option to delete or remove the Homekit Device.

I don’t want to have to reconnect my Aqara Hub to HA; doing so involve me jumping through hoops using Homekit, and it’s freaking annoying. There must be a way to delete these non-existent devices from HA.

Here are some screenshots for your reference -

Bump, anyone has any idea? This is actually causing confusion whenever I want to make new automations, since the devices that no longer exist still shows up when I search for motion sensor.

Hi did you figure out how to do this? I need to do the same

I have the exact same problem - moved some devices from one Aqara E1 hub to another, by deleting and then re-adding in the Aqara app, and the old devices still show in HA under the old E1 as Homekit devices. Did you figure this out?
