Delete duplicate entities that are not in "_core.entity_registry"?

Hi,

I’ve some hue lights that show up as duplicate in Hassio. They just have a number at the end like “light.wc_2”. When I try to rename the “light.wc_2” to “light.wc” in integration it says: “save failed: Entity is already registered”.

I’ve already looked into the “_core.entity_registry” but the duplicate entity is not there.

I used to have a hue bridge before, but I’m now using a conbee stick with Deconz. Maybe that is an issue, but I don’t think so.

Is there any other file where the duplicate entity can be?

go to configuration->integrations and see if they show up there. if they do then delete them.

Unfortunately, the duplicates don’t show up under configuration – > integration --> deConz.

I forgot to say, that the duplicate ones can also switch on and off the light…so they function the same as the original ones. I really don’t know where else to look, but it must be somewhere hidden…

Same problem here. There’s an entity in my states list that doesn’t actually exist anymore and is nowhere to be found in any of the config or core config files…

Same here. Did any of you ever find a solution?

Everything functions, but it’s annoying having duplicate entities in the lists. And when I call GA to turn off one single light the feedback is “ok turning off two lights” (the single light turns off)

Me too. Duplicates wiht original names but a ‘_2’ at the end.

+1 …well actually _2

I file this issue but got closed, what gives?? So I created a new issue here

It is a general issue, not a zwave specific, I also have device-tracker duplicates, mqtt, but no zwave or zigbee.

Yes exactly, I’m getting duplicated entities in different integrations like device tracker, Tado, switches, etc. Why is this even happening?
