Delete Entity created by Development Tools

Hello,

I have created a custom entity over development tools in the states tab for testing purposes.
Sadly I can’t find how to delete them again? They are not showing up in ./storage/core.entity_registry or anywhere else. I can’t delete them anymore cause the webgui says that those entitys doesn’t have a uniqe id.

So how do I delete this entity? Is anyone aware of this?

Try the following:

Remove the entity from your UI, if you still use it in a card.
Restart Home Assistant.

Hello,

I have never used it in the UI or anywhere. Just put in some informations under states in development tab and pressed set state. This entity never existed really. I can’t delete it in any way over the ui cause it doesn’t have a unique id and it’s also not in the .storage/core.entity_registry. Restarted Home Assistant a few times now it’s not disappearing.

Go to Developer Tools —> Services
Type purge in the field
Select service: recorder.purge_entities
Select the entity
Hit the execute button
Wait some seconds
