Have you modified your configuration.yaml file before using a file editor ?
I’d check for a section that starts
variable:
Did you upgrade your HA version recently ?
Do you use the custom integration “hass-variables”?
If so it has been moved to a UI only configuration.
Yes, there was a variable section. I have commented it out completely and restarted HA. Now I do not see the message. Hopefully everything will keep working.
Just to give an update, after commenting out the variables section in configuration.yaml, the automations which used the variables have stopped working. Whatever HA has done to import the variables into UI does not work as expected. I will just revert everything back and let HA compalin…
