Denon AVR Integration and AVR-X3100W

Hello,

I’m having issues with Denon AVR integration with my AVR-X3100W. I see it’s not listed in the compatible devices but it always worked in the past.

Wondering if something changed.

At the moment I’m getting an error telling me the device is unreachable but the device is on the same LAN and I can ping it from my raspberry running Hassio.

How can I debug it?

Thanks.

Have you tried unplugging the mains for 10 seconds? If this helps, I may have a good tip for you.

What version of HA are you using?

I was using 2021.6.4, I just upgraded to 2021.6.6 and OS 6.1 and suddenly it showed up as discovered device, I imported it and now it’s working

I don’t know if something changed in this integration from .4 to .6 now now it’s working fine. Maybe we can add the 3100W in the list of compatible devices?

Thanks a lot.

Read the 2006 release thread you will see.

If you want to change the docs, just do it.

This was not only related to your AVR-X3100W. The Denon AVR integration stopped working in v2021.6.4, as registered in issue #51867 . This issue was closed 19 days ago, and apparently the fix was released in v2021.6.6, because after upgrading the Denon integration now also works for me again.

But yes, the fix is not documented in any of the 2021.6 release or patch changes. Not even in the full list of changes.

@nickrout, if you can point us to where the Denon AVR fix is mentioned in the release notes it would be great.

There is a link to solution: Add httpcore with version 0.13.3 by ludeeus · Pull Request #51799 · home-assistant/core · GitHub

The solution, fixing httpcore, is mentioned in the 2010.6.5 release notes.
