Denon AVR suddenly offline - integration relies on Web server authentication?

Hi there;

I have been using the HEOS integration for a few years now without any issues until today.

Suddenly the device;

Controller (192.168.1.96)
1 device and 1 entity
Failed setup, will retry: Unable to connect to 192.168.1.96

I can not reconnect, and there are zero logs for this integration to investigate.

How else can I test this?

So far I can ping the device on my network. I can control it with the HEOS android app (worst app on the planet by the way). And, I can also ping it from within the Home Assistant Docker Container.

Any other ideas? This integration is arguably one of my family’s most used. :frowning:

Edit; I should add, I have a manual script that turns the Receiver on/off with a simple webhook thing or something, and that still works from HA. So the HA Docker container can reach it, the integration has just packed it in.

It appears their servers are having a meltdown;

HEOS Outage Notice – Music Services Unavailable

We’re currently experiencing a service outage affecting HEOS Music Services. Our team is actively investigating the issue and working urgently to restore access.

At this time, we do not have an estimated time for resolution. We understand how important this functionality is and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We’ll share updates as soon as more information becomes available.

Can the integration manager ( @andrewsayre ?)possibly change this code to allow it to run without verifying the login user via the web? Nothing on the integration page states it relies on Web access.

Closing as it appears to be covered in this thread;
